Sexual Health

What we do

The sexual health clinic is part of the Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) service.

We offer a free, confidential service which includes advice, information, testing and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections including HIV.

Where we are

The clinic entrance is on the London Road and is served by buses 60, 64, 109, 164, 198, 250, 289

The clinic hours are:

Walk in and wait

No appointment needed

Monday  8.30am to 5.30pm

Tuesday 8.30am to 12.30pm

               3.00pm to 5.45pm (The Point for 18 year olds and under)

Wednesday 11.30am to 6.45pm

Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Friday 8.30am to 4.15pm

We aim to make your waiting time as short as possible.

Please allow at least one hour for your visit, at busy times it may take longer.

If you cannot wait, please speak to a member of staff who will let you know what options you have.

Appointment clinics

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8.30am you can book an appointment to be seen later the same day by calling 020 8401 3002.

If the clinic is closed and you need to be seen urgently you can:

  • Contact your GP
  • Call NHS Direct 0845 46 47
  • Go to the Walk-In Centre, 45 High Street, Croydon
  • Go to the Accident and Emergency department at Mayday (Mayday Road entrance)
